Alexia's Pups
Look at these 3 beautiful puppies! We are so happy, and so is Alexia, that they were born in a warm loving foster home where they will have the best of care. They will know only the best life has to offer.
More information will be forthcoming soon on genders, names, etc. At the moment we will not be able to 'hold' specific pups, but we will gladly start processing applications so that they can go to great homes as soon as they are weaned, up to date on shots, altered and microchipped. As we name them and find out more they will be put up for adoption on individual pages. For now we just thought their photos were too cute not to share!

Alexia's pups are so happy that they have a Buddy!! Their Buddy, Anita McDermott, from Westover, Pennsylvania, sent them this message: "I am sending prayers for all of the puppymill dogs and other victims of abuse, like Tia who is at the Bridge. I just lost my golden Ret. Cynnamon to osteosarcoma last November. She was a puppy mill dog. She was 12. Thanks for what you do." Amalie's pups send Anita many grateful, happy puppy kisses.
Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. Buddies are people who help support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the Buddy.
