Homeward Bound - Adopted!
Now happily living in Denver, Colorado.
Ariane is a sweet little girl. She was rescued from a puppy mill where she lived for 9 years. She only has 3 teeth left. Her patellas are not the best, but we don't think they will require an operation as they don't seem to bother her. She dances for attention and follows the people around wanting to be picked up and carried. She is quite a little princess. She is darling, smart, fun and has a sparkling personality. She will be so happy to get a home of her own for the first time in her whole life. She will make an adoring companion.
Ariane is a female Papillon. She was born 8/27/99 and weighs 8.2 pounds.
Ariane is so happy that she has a Buddy! Her Buddy, Heather Bockert, from Omaha, Nebraska, sent her this message: "Hi love! I met you at the Nebraska Humane Society Walk for the Animals, and I fell in love. You are so beautiful and sweet. You are truly a little darling." Ariane sends Heather many happy, grateful kisses and thanks her for stopping by to meet her at the Walk for the Animals.
Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. Buddies are people who help support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the Buddy.
