Brownie
Brownie came from a kill shelter where he was going to be put down because his 3 days were up. He is a lovely boy, just so full of life and love. He likes playing with his roommate L'Oreal and has such a positive outlook. He is a friendly boy who adores people. We are so happy that we had the opportunity to save this young, handsome fellow from a untimely end.
Brownie is a male setter mix. He was born in 2007 and weighs 42 pounds.
Brownie is so happy that he has a Buddy! His Buddy, Judy Kameoka, from Petersburg, Virginia, sent him this message: "Brownie, we're so glad that you were rescued! We send you our support in loving memory of Emile. We pray that you will soon find the joys of a forever home!" Brownie sends many grateful hugs, kisses and tail wags to Judy for her generous love and support.
Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. Buddies are people who help support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the Buddy.
