Carolina is a fun, sweet, happy girl. She loves the humans and loves to play and learn. She is eager to please and loves praise. She always has a happy smile on her face. She is dainty for her breed. We can't say enough good things about Miss Carolina. She is lovely!
Carolina is a female lab mix. She was born 09/23/07 and weighs 35 pounds.
Miss Carolina is so happy that she has Buddies!!
Her Buddy, Tara McCraw, from Madisonville, Louisiana, sent her this message: "Miss Carolina, you are such a pretty girl and remind me so much of my Buddy boy! Buddy is a black lab/pit bull mix who I took in after Hurricane Katrina. Buddy was being picked up by animal control and I was told he would be put down because he had heartworms and demodectic mange but I saved his life.just like yours is being saved right now! I know you will find a very loving home just like my Buddy boy did!!! Buddy now has 2 more doggy rescued siblings...Jasmine, a German Shephard and Bessy a black lab/hound mix and 2 cat siblings and 1 kitten sibling, recently found at 2 wks old abandoned under the tire of a car at Wendy's with no mama cat anywhere in sight! Buddy is a very loving, loyal dog to me and all of his siblings.so he's glad to be your "Buddy" too! :o)" Miss Carolina sends Tara and her lovely pets many happy, grateful kisses.

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested.
