Cynthia
Dogs are dumped in huge numbers throughout the Midwest. These dogs suffer greatly and then they die horrible deaths - hit by cars, shot by farmers, eaten by wild animals or freezing to death. There is very little hope for them. HUA rescues as many of them as we can find. Every one of them is a wonderful dog. They have done nothing in their lives than could possibly justify being dumped. They are all always happy, grateful and forgiving. We dont know what Cynthia is, except beautiful! These pictures do not do her justice! She has a rough white coat with wonderful black / gray / brown markings of perhaps a American Husky. Her ears are shaped like a Corgie or even a dingo. Well since there arent too many dingos roaming around Nebraska, shes probably not part dingo. So who knows? The other thing we know about her is that shes a special dog. She always has a smile on her face and in her heart. Just look at the picture at the top of this page. Thats a grin on her face about to burst out into a huge smile! Cynthia was one of the many dogs dumped in Nebraska. We cant imagine why because shes been the perfect dog while at HUA. She loves people and gets along with other dogs. Cynthia is definitely a medium sized dog. She weighs 35-40 pounds and will come up to your knee. She is very easy to handle and ready for anything! She loves to go down to the play yard and loves to be brushed. Smiling the whole time! She would love to be involved in agility work. Cynthia was born in 2001. She has been spayed and she's current on health care. Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. We can give you more information on each dog if you click on the adoption link below. If you are interested in adopting Cynthia, please click on the adoption link below. Buddies are people who help support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the Buddy. Thanks for visiting our dogs! |
