Davida came from a terrible puppy mill in Missouri. The conditions and treatment of the dogs were just awful. Davida is so very afraid of humans. We can only imagine what must have been done to her to make her so distrustful. It will take a very quiet, loving and understanding home to work with her on her trust issues. We are sure the reward will be worth the effort, as she is a darling little girl.

Davida is a female bichon. She weighs 10.5 pounds and was born in February of 2006.

Davida is so happy that she has a Buddy! Her Buddy, Jane McCullough, from McKinney, Texas, sent her this message: "Dear Davida, you are such a beautiful young lady. Please know that you are loved by many people, near and far. I wish you the very best life has to offer." Davida sends Jane many happy, grateful kisses.

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. Buddies are people who help support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the Buddy.
