SAD NEWS
Emile has passed away at the age of 18. Emile was one of the sweetest, most precious little dogs we've ever met. He was at HUA for many years. He enjoyed his time with us, and especially loved Saturdays when the volunteers would come take him out to the yard to hop around and explore. He will be greatly missed by all of his HUA family.

Emile has been at Hearts United for many years. He is now 17 years old. Emile has come to think of HUA as home. He is frail and easily upset by change. We have decided it is in Emile's best interest to stay at HUA where he loves his caretakers and gets all of his special needs, including a special diet and frequent vet visits, taken care of. Emile loves his routine. He goes out to recess 3 times a day with the other dogs. Although he has arthritis he is one of the first ones out. He does a darling little pitty pat, bunny hop with his back legs on his way out the door to the yard. He does tons of exploring and greeting the other dogs. He is then one of the first back in because he knows he will get lots of after recess time kisses and hugs and will get special treats with whole carrots and peas. After treat time and kisses Emile settles in for a long well deserved nap. We are Emile's family and he is ours. We will care for him and love him for the rest of his days.
Emile is so happy that he has a Buddy! His Buddy, Judy Kameoka sent him this message: "Our beautiful four-legged friend: thank you for preservering and teaching all of us about unconditional love. I know you will find your perfect home that you deserve very soon. God Bless!" Emile sends Judy happy kisses.
Emile is precious poodle. He is an older gentleman who spent his life in a horrible puppymill. He must have been severly abused because he's still afraid of people and needs a very special person to love him and allow his delightful poodle spirit to emerge. He's been neutered, had his teeth cleaned and is current on health care.
