Homeward Bound - Adopted!
Now happily living in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Ginette was rescued from a Missouri puppy mill. When asked to tell us about Ginette this is what her daily caregiver said: "She is the most loveable little girl. She is one of the best Shih-tzus we've ever had." Charlotte, the caregiver who wrote this, has worked at HUA for nearly a decade. So this is saying alot in favor of little Miss Ginette! She is a peach!
Ginette is a female Shih-tzu. She was born 11/4/03 and weighs 11 pounds.
Ginette is so happy that she has Buddies!!
Her Buddy, Ann MacDougall, from Lincoln, Nebraska, sent her this message: "Beautiful Ginette, From the first time I saw you at HUA, you stole my heart! You have been so friendly and affectionate, and you love to explore new places like the play yard and even the laundry room! Then you get the brightest smile on your face, like you are very proud of yourself! I hope the perfect forever family finds you very soon and gives you the life of luxury that you deserve." Ginette sends Ann many happy, grateful hugs and kisses and thanks her for her visits and special trips to the play yard.

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. Buddies are people who help support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the Buddy.
