Justin
Justin's story should make us all sit up and learn an important lesson. Justin and his brother were Arlene's family after her four children moved away. When she died unexpectedly, none of the four children would take the dogs. They were dumped at the pound in New Jersey to die. A friend of the family heard about the dogs and went and got them out and told the family he would keep them until after the funeral and they could decide who would take them then. The funeral came and went and none of Arlene's children would be responsible for these two dogs that their mother adored. The family that took them in could not keep them so they found them a home with a family in the neighborhoor. That family decided they could only keep one. So back Justin came - uprooted once again. The family had two vacations planned and Justin ended up at the vets - alone and afraid without his brother or anyone who loved him. His weight went from 21 pounds to 14 pounds. The family then called Fox Terrier Rescue who asked if we could help. Justin went to foster care in Pennsylvania and was adopted. He is very happy that he once again has a home with a person who loves and adores him. He should not have suffered such emotional trauma. If you love your dog, please make arrangements for what will happen to him if you die. Justin wishes Arlene had done just that.
