Now living happily in Phoenix, Arizona.

Laina is a happy-go-lucky fun little girl. She is so very loving. She showers the people with kisses and kisses and more kissses. She is energetic and lively. Laina came from a Missouri puppy mill. She is overjoyed to have her freedom.

Laina is a female dachshund. She was born 12/15/05 and weighs 9.4 pounds.

Laina is so happy that she has a Buddy! Her Buddy, Ingelore Pohlmann, from Winfield, Illinois, sent her this message: "Dear Laina, may I be your buddy? You are a very beautiful young lady and I am sure another dachshund lover will come and snatch you up very soon. Warm hugs and kisses, your friend Ingelore" Laina sends many happy, grateful hugs and kisses to Ingelore for her generous love, support and friendship.

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested.
