Leo
Leo was a victim of the economy. His people could no longer afford to care for him, as well as many other dogs in the house. Leo is an adorable, playful, sweet puppy. He loves to have fun! He adores the people as well as his doggie playmates.
Leo is a male Shih-Tzu Chihuahua mix. He was born in May of 2009 and weighs 5 pounds.
Leo is so happy that he has a Buddy! His Buddy, Sheila Lewis, from Moses Lake, Washington, sent him this message: "Hi Leo You are in my healing thoughts and prayers. I am so happy that you found such a wonderful place. You deserve owners who will love and appreciate you. So please take care. Sheila and Roger" Leo sends Sheila and Roger many happy, grateful kisses and hugs.
Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. Buddies are people who help support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the Buddy.
