Homeward Bound - Adopted!

Now happily living in Grand Island, Nebraska.

Marley was rescued from a puppy mill where he was living outdoors in the bitter cold. He was a tangled, matted mess and skinny, probably from all the energy it took freezing half to death. The good news is that Marley is SOOOO happy to be rescued! He is a dear boy. His caretakers describe him best: "He's a spoiled baby, loves tummy rubs and is very playful. He is full of kisses and he is the Dancing King! He adores humans." What more could a person want in a dog? Marley is the best! We are so happy this little boy has a reason to dance and love humans these days. He has completely recovered from his ordeal and is ready to go to a home where he will be loved and treasured forever. Can you provide Marley that happy home?

Marley is a male Poodle. He was born 5/13/05 and weighs 14.8 pounds.

Marley is so happy that he has Buddies!!

His Buddy, Mary Weaver, from High Point, North Carolina, sent him this message: "Such a handsome boy like you will have a wonderful forever home in no time. You will have lots of love and kisses and live happily ever after! Until then, we send our pooch smooches..............Sammie,Sara, Ginger,Princess,Sid,Yogi and Bug." Marley sends his sweet Buddies many happy, grateful Poodle boy kisses.

His Buddy, Bonnie Faimon, from Lincoln, Nebraska, sent Marley and Alessandra this message: "Your Buddies Toby, Daisy Blue, and Trooper from Lincoln, Nebraska, are still thinking of you every day and hoping you find your forever homes VERY soon. We did, although we all came to live with our mom and dad at different times from different situations. We were glad to learn from a postcard sent by your Director that you enjoyed your Valentines Day treats (she said you had turkey!). Please keep your hopes up, and soon someone will recognize how very loveable you are. Alessandra, please keep trying to learn to trust people; we know it's difficult for you, but you are a delightful little Princess! Marley, just keep on dancing and someone very smart WILL fall in love with you!" Marley sends Bonnie and her lovely family many very happy, grateful kisses and hugs.

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested.
