Montel
Montel is a world class little charmer. He hams it up for all the visitors. Everyone stops in their tracks to ooooh and aaaaah over what an adorable little fellow he is. Montel is as friendly and loving as he is handsome. He came from a puppy mill in Missouri and is very much enjoying his new life. He will be so very happy when he has a family of his very own to love for the first time.
Montel is a male black and tan longhaired dachshund. He was born 11/23/03 and weighs 9.4 pounds.

His Buddy, Kyoko Takemura-Homma, from Beverly Hills, California, sent him this message: "I am sure you will find a forever home soon." Montel sends many grateful, happy kisses to Kyoko for her love and support.
His Buddy, Kim Winter, from Syracuse, NY, sent him this message: "Montel- you are one of the most debonair little doxie boys I have ever seen. Be a good little pup and I am sure you will find a warm lap in your "furever" home before you know it!" Montel sends Kim many happy, grateful doxie boy kisses.
Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. Buddies are people who help support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the Buddy.
