Pup Pup

PupPup came to Hearts United for Animals as a Tia's Place dog. (See Tia’s story at http://www.hua.org/Tias-Place.html)

Members of PupPup’s family were being abused and had to flee for their safety. PupPup was not allowed to go to the shelter with them. It is an unfortunate fact that many abusers use their pets as an example of what will happen to other family members if they leave.

We are thankful that PupPup’s family found sanctuary and later a new life in safety. They’d hoped to come back and retrieve their beloved dog, but couldn’t and asked us to find her a home. We’re glad to provide PupPup sanctuary until we can find her just that.

We’re also thankful that PupPup holds not grudge against any human: male, female, young and old, this dog just likes everyone. She is simply delightful.

PupPup is a true mutt. There is Rottweiler in her past. OK, we’ve said it. There is also bit of Chow-Chow given her spotted tongue. As to PupPups other third, for fourth, we honestly have no idea. We do know she is a very unique and beautiful dog.

She’s a big girl, but not too big. She’s strong, but knows how to walk on a leash and not pull. OK, she might turn you around a few times at first – but then again, how many dogs really know that right side vs. left side? It’s so complicated!

(The author of this description wishes her dog could learn that concept even after two years of trying!)

She’s a playful and happy soul and would be a devoted companion. She’s loved every person and every dog she’s ever met. We think she’s just the perfect example of a dog that can forgive and forget!

PupPup was born in April of 2002. She is a striking dog. PupPup would love to be your devoted best friend. She has been spayed and is current on health care.

Puppup is so happy that she has a Buddy! Her Buddy, Tina and Rod Brown from Snohomish, Washington, sent her this message: "Puppup, We want so much to see you find a wonderful family, With 7 here we can take on no more. All our family, Until then, WE want to help take care of you . All our Love Rod & tina, (rotts) Komar,Tara, bronsons & Brandi,(frenchies) Deja, Teren & Kohl) Hugz & smooches from al" Puppup sends them all happy kisses.

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. We can give you more information on each dog if you click on the adoption link below. If you are interested in adopting PupPup, please click on the adoption link below. Buddies are people who help support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the Buddy.

Thanks for visiting our dogs!
