Now living happily in Bellevue, Nebraska!
Quan is a great fellow. He loves to snuggle and he has learned to play ball by himself. He is having a ball now that he has been released from a puppy mill in Nebraska where he spent the first 9 years of his life. He lost 19 teeth at his first vet visit. He will make a wonderful companion. He is very happy to be free, and quite an easygoing, fun loving fellow.
Quan is a male Pekingese. He was born 03/12/00 and weighs 9 pounds.

His Buddy, Susan Cartwright, from Wellesley, Massachusetts, sent him this message: "Peks are great! Having 2 myself, one of them looks like Quan, all white & sticks his tongue out too! Full of charm, I know he will find a forever home soon." Quan sends Susan and her sweet Peks many happy, grateful kisses.
His Buddy, Marlene Satter, from Oceanport, New Jersey, sent him this message: "Quan, you are adorable and I just know the perfect forever home is waiting for you! Until then, I'd love to be your Buddy." Quan sends Marlene many happy, grateful Pekingese boy kisses.
Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested.
