Renaldo
Renaldo was rescued from a terrible farm in Iowa where they were raising pups to sell to the local pet store for $50. All of the dogs were so covered in fleas that they were black from head to tail. Renaldo is a happy guy, but still a little unsure if the humans treating him nicely is for real. Once he gets completely used to his surroundings we think he will be tons of fun. He is a totally adorable little fellow!
Renaldo is a male Chihuahua. He was born in June of 2005 andd weighs 14.8 pounds.
Renaldo is so happy that he has a Buddy! His Buddy, Shannon Smith, from Overland Park, Kansas, sent this message to him and to Chalina: "Your eyes captured my heart. Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. Buddies are people who help support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the Buddy.
