Rose
Rose is so happy that she has Buddies!! Her Buddy, Anne and Ken Bardell from England, sent her this message: "Sweet Rose, we pray that one day soon you will go home with someone and be their best buddy for the rest of your life. It will have to be someone pretty special to deserve that! Meanwhile, lots of cuddles and love from your buddies in England, Ken and Anne Bardell, and friendly woofs from Henry, Minnie, Toby and Jamie" Rose sends them all happy kisses. Her Buddy, Heather Fuger, from Othellow, Washington, sent her this message: "Oh Sweet Rose...I have a wonderful friend named Summer who could pass as your twin Sister. Summer was rescued from an abusive family, she had a broken leg and was so skinny and sick. She looks just like you, and I don't know what breed she is either. What I do know is she is loving, loyal and can read my mind. She acts so human it's pretty funny. The family that takes you home will be so blessed with your love and friendship. You are in my thoughts and prayers Sweet Rose, your family will find you soon. Heather, Summer, Peaches, and Nell." Rose sends Heather and sweet kids many happy, grateful kisses and hugs. She's the sweetest little rosebud that Texas ever knew. Her eyes are bright as diamonds ... Yes, that's Yellow Rose, our charming girl from Texas. Sharon traveled a strip in Interstate in Texas and for three days in a row she saw Rose standing in the center strip. She vowed to go back and rescue her but when she got there, Rose was gone. Then a month later Sharon saw Rose again along another strip of the highway - 35 miles from the first place she had seen her. Sharon knew that it was fate and she had to rescue her. First Sharon contacted HUA and asked if we could take her because she was at her limit on dogs at her home and knew that she could not keep her. We agreed to take her as soon as Sharon could get her. Sharon worked for days, bringing food and treats, trying to win over this dog who had learned to put little faith in humans. Finally, Rose knew she could trust again and went home with Sharon. The next day Rose flew to Omaha from Houston. Rose was afraid, and starved with patches of hair falling out and she had heartworms. But she quickly learned that she was safe and loved us freely. We are enchanted with her every day when she greets us with a lovely little welcome act - dances, bows, poses, cocking her head and the most loving look in those beautiful eyes. Rose is a very special dog, so incredibly tuned in to people We don't know what type of dog she is, but we do know that she's totally devoted. Hearts united across the miles to save this very special girl. Do you have a home for her? |
