Rose was found in a cow pasture being roughed up by the cows. She was so very scared. She is completely blind. No one knew who she belonged to. She gets around well with her nose. She is a little afraid at first when her location changes, but it doesn't take her long to catch on and become comfortable. She is a great gal. She is very gentle and loving. She likes to have her tummy rubbed and she likes to sit on laps and have her back scratched.

Rose is a female rat terrier born 5/21/98. She weighs 13.8 pounds.

Rose is so happy that she has a Buddy! Her Buddy, Karen Hoffman, from Lincoln, Nebraska, sent her this message: "Dear Rose~I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!  In my heart I feel that you are "all mine!"  I am so proud of how  you have come to feel comfortable at HUA.  But how could you not when you are loved by so many!!  It is such a delight to have you on my lap for ear scratches and tummy rubs, to brush and comb you.  It is amazing how well you follow voices, mix in with your peers and saunter off on your own.  You go about your new life with such confidence--you hold your head so high and erect, and there is always that sweet, sweet smile on your face!  You are indeed a regal, elegant and gracious lady!!  I love you!  Karen" Rose sends Karen many happy, grateful kisses and much thanks for coming to spend time with her.
