Sampson
Sampson was found as a stray. He must have been in a home before because he knows some commands and is very well behaved. He is a dear boy. We are so happy to have found him.
Sampson is a male Black Lab born in 2004. He weighs 115 pounds.
Sampson is so happy that he has Buddies!
His Buddy, Lois Olson, from Lincoln, Nebraska sent him this message: "I saw your picture and could see what a special guy you are. Marty, Maggie, (my two beagles) and I wanted to let you know that we would love to be your buddies. We'll keep thinking good thoughts for you and hope you find that one perfect forever home soon. Lots of dog kisses and hugs from us to you." Sampson sends Lois and her sweet beagles many grateful kisses.
His Buddy, Jeb Bell (former HUA alum), from Omaha, Nebraska, sent him this message: "I'm concerned about my old pal, Sampson and would like to still be his Buddy. My Dad and I hope he get's to go home soon. We tell everyone about him." Sampson sends Jeb and his dad Jim many grateful, happy big boy kisses.

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested.
