Theo
Theo is the happiest, silliest, funniest little fellow in the world. He loves to play and loves to interact with the people. His bright, charming antics are completely entertaining and wonderful. It would be impossible to spend one unhappy moment around this sweet bundle of love and affection. Theo was chained outside of farm house, matted in filth and left to die by people who moved away and left him on his chain with no food or water. Neighbors kept him alive until they found HUA. We could not believe this gorgeous, loving, adorable boy could be treated in such a criminal manner. We can only hope these horrible people never have another animal as long as they live. Theo is one of the best dogs ever, and will have only the best in his future. He is none the worse for wear because of his horrible life, which is evidence of his forgiving, gentle, loving spirit.
Theo is a male cocker spaniel. He was born 08/06/06 and weighs 29 pounds.
Theo is so happy that he has a Buddy! His Buddies, Jack and Tricia Quinlivan, from Ogallala, Nebraska, sent him this message: "Looking real good Theo glad to see you up and around from Jack, Tricia, Missy the Cairn and Old Jake the Irish Bog Dog" Theo sends Jack, Tricia, Missy and Old Jake many happy, grateful kisses.

I am hoping to visit one of these days but it is a long way from Ogallala to your home. Old Jake the Irish Bog Dog and little Missy the Cairn send their best. Jack and Patricia Quinlivan " Theo sends his thanks for the compliments on his obviously stunning good looks. He would like to invite the Quinlivan's to come visit anytime, and suggests that they load their trunk with tennis balls and bacon :) Hey, a guy can dream can't he!
Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. Buddies are people who help support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the Buddy.
