Tica
Tica spent ten years in a horrid puppy mill in Nebrasaka. She's still a little afraid but she's learing that there are people who will love her and protect her. She is very sweet once she trusts someone.
She didn't loose many teeth when they were cleaned because she had almost none left. That's why her precious little tongue hangs out.
Tica is a Chihuahua who was born on 12/15/98 and weighs about 8 pounds.

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested.
