Toby Eski belonged to a girl who went off to college and could not take him along. Her parents would not keep him. It was very sad. He had known life in a home and been adored and was then left at a shelter with strangers. Toby E. is taking his change in circumstances well though. He is very happy, playful and excited. He adores the humans and loves every moment of attention he receives. Mostly though his wish is to be back in a home where he will be cherished forever.

Toby Eski is an American Eskimo. He was born 9/26/05 and weighs 16.5 pounds.

Toby Eski is so happy that he has a Buddy! His Buddy, Amanda Drevyanko, from Iowa City, Iowa, sent him this message: "Dear Toby Eski, You remind me of my favorite dog at work and if I could I would bring you home to live with me right now. Its hard to move to college and leave pets! I am sure you will find a wonderful, loving home soon. You are such a doll! and I will be thinking of you. Love, Amanda" Toby Eski sends Amanda many grateful, happy kisses.

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested.
