Alexander

Alex was well loved. He was adored and he adored his person. Then she died. Alex was given to a family across the town. They didn't really want him. They didn't hurt him but they didn't love him either. He kept going back to his old home. He went across the town in the heat, braving the traffic to get home. To get back to his person. He was looking for his Mama. Who was not there. He was heartbroken. Then he was picked up by animal control who took him to a cage and he would have died.

Alex came to the Shelter and figured everything out instantly. He understood every Sanctuary Sweetheart and made friends with all of them. They all have their own quirks and usually don't like strangers at first. But Alex spoke to them. He loves people. He is absolutely brilliant. His manners are impeccable.

Alex would have been heartbroken to leave the Sanctuary so he became a Sweetheart. He understands that he won't see his first Mama again but he has found love again and he's so happy.
