Angelo

Angelo stood first on one frozen foot and then on the other leaving bloody patches in the snow. For two hours we followed him waiting for the tranquilizer that had been disguised in a perice of steak to take effect. Finally, he darted through a door we had left open to a little shed, and we were able to gather up this terrified little dog and take him to somfort, warmth and safety. Angelo has a jagged scar visible through is hair on his forehead that tells us part of his story. He is still very nervous and extremely afraid of strangers, but he cuddles to us and loves play times and treats.
