Jessie

Jessie arrived at the Shelter in the back of a station wagon with her four puppies. Her greeting to us was a lunge at the window. It took five steak tranquilizers and many hours before we were able to care for the puppies and get Jessie medical care. Jessie is a beautiful, sweet dog with soft wavy hair, but an expert fence climber and a bonafide watch dog, menacing to strangers. The only people who have asked to adopt her wanted her to guard warehouses. We won't allow this. Jessie will stay with us always.
