Victor

Victor is our miracle boy. When he came to HUA he had heartworms and began treatment. He went down hill almost immediately and became terribly ill. He could not even walk and we had to move him with a sling. We rushed him to specialists at the University Hospital in Manhattan, Kansas where it was discovered that he had Lyme Disease. He was started on massive doses of antibiotics. We were told that he had hip dysplasia and would require surgery at a later date. We started him on Glocosamine/Chondrotin and Ester Vitamin C and Vitamin E. One year later, Victor is a healthy and happy. The heartworms are gone, the Lyme Disease shows no more symptoms, and he walks without pain. We are so grateful. He is the most wonderful, gentle giant.

Victor and Clare are the very best of friends. They have dug enormous holes side by side out in the five acre yard and they go out and rest and was watch the world together. They are always together.

Everyone who meets Victor falls immediately under his spell because his eyes convey his love for them instantly. This dog is a gift who we will always be grateful. We are very careful to watch his health and be certain that he gets his vitamins and nutrients and gets the very best of food. We want him with us for many many years.
