Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Omaha, Nebraska.

Ace is aces. He is a sweet, quiet, gentle, unassuming little guy who loves to be held and spoken sweetly to. He came to us from a very bad puppy mill in Nebraska with a bunch of his Pom friends who all just craved loving human relationships. Ace is no exception. He adores being spoiled and pampered and he soaks up attention like a sponge. He is learning about all sorts of new and fabulous things like consistent and delicious meals, comfy beds and blankets, friends, and toys, but most importantly, love. If Ace had it his way, he'd be wrapped up in human arms all day long, every single day. He gives the tiniest and sweetest little kisses as if he knows that's all the reward we need for busting him out of prison. Ace likes his dog friends very much and gets along well with every other little dog he meets. He will be a prized possession to his family and eternally grateful for this wonderful new life filled with peace, comfort, safety and happiness.
Buddy Messages (2)
His Buddies, Peg and Tim Ickes, from New Mexico, sent him this message: "Ace, it sounds like you could be a permanent lap fixture! Our three rescued Bassets want you to know that a perfect home is waiting for you, a home with lots of lap time for you! When your family finds you, you can't even imagine how happy and surrounded by love you will feel! Enjoy all the laps at HUA until that time, sweet boy!" Ace sends Peg, Tim and their three beautiful Bassets many grateful kisses and untold numbers of hugs!
His Buddy, Donna Berggren, from Charlestown, IN, sent him this message: "I hope you find your forever home real the meantime you could not be in better care than HUA." Ace sends Donna many grateful little kisses and lots of hugs, too!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
