Homeward Bound - Adopted!

Now living happily in Omaha, Nebraska

We recently received an e-mail from a family in a nearby town. Their two dogs had puppies and there were three that they were unable to sell. We told them we would welcome the puppies, get them altered, and put them up for adoption. However, we also wanted to help the family get their two dogs altered so this situation would not repeat itself. The family agreed to it.

The puppies are said to be some sort of Vizsla/Golden Retriever mix. The one thing we know for sure is that they'll be pretty big once full grown. All three of the littermates are already around 40 pounds with Brownie smack dab in the middle. She is so sweet and so silly - everyone is completely in love with her. She stomps around the yard looking like she doesn't quite have total control over her feet. She loves to romp with her clumsy brothers and thinks everything in life in perfectly fantastic. Although we suspect that Brownie will grow into a very large young lady, we think she will probably expect to always be considered a cuddly lap puppy. We dare you to resist.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddy, Lisa Bartel, from Jackson, NJ, sent her this message: "Hey brownie! I'm your new buddy!!!" Brownie is tickled and sends Lisa lots of happy cuddles and slurpy puppy kisses!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
