Now living happily in Falls City, Nebraska.
For those who are not familiar with the breed, Cotons are often described as "little Labs." They are playful, easy to train and eager to please. The are generally quiet but make the funniest sounds of delight when they are playing and having fun. Cotons are famous for prancing around on their back legs to elicit laughter and praise. They are also hypo-allergenic with low dander, which makes them popular in homes with people whose allergies may make them unable to tolerate other breeds.
This gorgeous, snowy white puff ball with giant brown eyes and sweetest of souls came from a puppy mill in Oklahoma. A super disgusting one. Because he is so lovely, he was bred as often as possible and produced many equally beautiful litters. He was a real money maker for that foul, hard-hearted miller and was kept in that rusty wire cage for several years before we were finally able to break him out. Calhoun is a tiny bit shy upon first meeting, but quickly warms up and is the nicest of all fellows. We have begun to see a bit of a silly side - just looking into those eyes you know there is quite the character inside there. Calhoun's family is sure to discover that he has all sorts of great qualities that have yet to be uncovered. He is just one of those guys who will shine in a home and will be quickly titled "the best dog we have ever had the privelege of loving."
