Pekingnese
Born: 05/03/2005
Small
13 lbs
Male

ChinChin was rescued by a nice family some years ago, but they recently ran into a situation that prevented them from being able to keep their dear boy. Although it was a very sad situation, ChinChin makes us laugh so hard that it was impossible to stay sad for long. He is a happy-go-lucky, silly, nosey little guy who keeps himself (and us) quite busy. He checks out every nook and cranny of any new place and if he finds something good, he will occasionally sing a hilarious victory song. He thought his photo session was really something special and played it up like he was posing for a very important magazine. ChinChin has some opinions and every once in a while throws a temper tantrum if things are not going his way. Although we let him know that this behavior is not acceptable, the discipline is done with our hands over our mouths so he cannot see our smiles. We are working with him on his little fits and teaching him to be a gentleman ALL OF THE TIME. ChinChin is ready for his new home. Be prepared - he is a heart-stealer and a major entertainer.
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddy, Aimee Hough, from Omaha, NE, sent him this message: "Hi, Chin Chin this is Aimee from Omaha. Nita and Sissy bring you lots of love and soon hope you find a forever home. I know there are many fur baby homes out there just like mine whom love the older fur babies like yourself. I hope that all of the volunteers at HUA spoil you rotten and that you will soon find a home that will do the same." Sweet Chin Chin sends Aimee, Nita and Sissy TONS of happy puppy kisses and many very joyful tail wags and smiles (and thanks them for visiting!).

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
