Homeward Bound - Adopted!

Now living happily in Illinois

Darling came to the shelter from a pound in Nebraska. We all think she is the funniest of all characters. She is smart as a whip and so full of personality that she has us both amazed and tickled all the time. Darling adores people. She gives lovely little kisses and loves recess time and walks. She gets along with the other dogs as long as they do not try to boss her around. If that happens, she'll let them know in no uncertain terms to back off. She can, however, be absolutely charmed by the little dogs that try very hard to win her over and it is a hilarious sight to see. As full of personality as this silly girl is, she is as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside. A more unique looking, adorable dog you'll never see. Darling is sure to be the perfect conversation piece for her lucky family.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddy, Stacie Gengler, from Omaha, NE, sent her this message: "Ms Darling, you are crazy cute and I can tell you have the best personality just by looking at you. I can't wait to hear the news that some lucky lucky people get to spend every day with you." Little Darling sends Stacie oodles of happy, gentle kisses and many grateful hugs!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
