be my buddy
German Shepherd
Born: 09/27/2010
Medium
48 lbs
Female

Destiny was rescued from a local pound where her days were certainly numbered. She is a lovely, lively, healthy girl who absolutely adores people. She is very smart and because she is a people pleaser, quick to learn tricks and basic commands. We don't know anything about Destiny's life before the shelter, but she does seem to prefer some dogs over others. Therefore, it would important for her to meet any new fur siblings before going into her forever home. Destiny will be a wonderful addition to an active family looking for a spunky, silly, loving, gorgeous girl who just wants to have some fun.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddy, Patricia Mika, from Acworth, GA, sent her this message: "Hi Destiny. My family and I would like to be your buddy. I saw your photo on the website and I though to myself, "Now that is one beautiful girl!" We currently have 7 dogs and 3 cats that have all come to us through rescue. I wish that you could come live with us, but it sounds like you have a very good situation there. We love you. Happy holidays, my sweet." Destiny sends Patricia and her family many grateful kisses, very happy tail wags and LOTS of fun-filled hugs!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
