Nova was able to celebrate her NINTH birthday as a free woman. Wonderful. She spent all the birthdays before in a wire cage, with little food and water, and no love at all. The puppy mill he came out of was particularly nasty and a good number of the dogs from there were horribly timid and afraid of human contact. Nova is a big fan of 'hanging out.' She likes to watch what goes on in the world. She thinks green grass is comfy and wonders often why some of the younger dogs feel they have to bounce and zoom around the place. We are not sure if she is a sports fan, but we do envision her as the perfect couch potato, taking in a good Huskers game with her family. Nova needs understanding and attention. She needs to be convinced that nothing bad is ever going to happen to her again. She needs a space where she can continue to perfect the fine art of 'hanging out.'
