Happily living in Lincoln, NE.

Dallas was found in a very small town close to the shelter. He was with another dog who was pregnant, and they were starving and trying desperately to find shelter. People in town were trying to round the poor things up and we got many calls for help. Finally, a very determined person was able to secure Dallas and his buddy and the HUA staff was able to step in and bring them to safety.

Dallas is all about a good time. He keeps himself busy sniffing out every inch of the play yard and always ends up at the water bowl to top off a great day. All four legs are folded into the small bowl so he can submerge his body for a nice cool bath. It didn't take long for the volunteers to figure out that a baby pool would make Dallas the happiest boy in the world and they were not wrong. Dallas now has his own private spa and languishes the day away in luxury, or so he thinks. This silly boy is so happy and enthusiastic that we laugh until we cry at his crazy antics. Any family would be lucky to have him.

His Buddies, Jason and Rochelle Paine, from Lincoln, NE, sent him this message: "Dallas, you are such a funny, loving, joyful sweetheart. You bring giggles and happiness where ever you are." Dallas sends Jason and Rochelle many very happy kisses, peppy tail wags and lots of grateful hugs!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
