Stella is, plainly put, a wonderful dog. She was found running along the highway, more than likely having been abandoned or dumped. Her first vet visit revealed three mammary tumors which at first were of great concern, but they were removed and the pathology showed that they were benign (non-cancerous). Everyone at the vet's office fell head over heels in love with this pretty girl and raved about how sweet she is. She is such a kind, loving soul and is great friends with the other dogs. She takes long walks on her leash and when she is finished, loves to sit under the shade trees and cuddle up. Stella is also completely housebroken. Her manners are superb, so much so that we have asked her to give etiquette lessons to some of the, um, less well-behaved creatures on campus. She told us she'd love to help, but some of those heathens are beyond anyone's control. We can't argue there, which makes us doubly appreciative of Stella's good nature and lovely disposition.
