Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Elkhorn, Nebraska.

Daisy Spaniel was brought to the shelter when her family fell on hard times and could no longer care for her. Daisy took the time she needed for grieving, then decided she was going to make the most of this new adventure. And boy is she having some good times! Daisy never met a stranger. She does not discriminate when it comes to copious amounts of hugs and kisses. She loves playing and running in the yards with the other dogs. She insists upon scratches behind her fuzzy ears and rewards us with the happiest of grins when we oblige. Daisy will do well with almost any family environment. She is a fun-loving, well-behaved love bug with the sweetest of temperaments.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddies, Jesus and Serita Gamez, from Lawrence, NE, sent her this message: "We would like to be a buddy to Daisy, Arista and Carrick in honor of our 3 babies that we lost. They were with us for 14 years, 13 years and 16 years. They will always be with us and we would love to help others dogs in their honor....truth be told they helped and loved us more that we ever did them! Here is to Reno (aka bean bean), Chewie (aka cho cho morrocho) and Hooch (aka Booda baby) We love you always!" Daisy sends the Gamez family many big, happy kisses and lots of grateful hugs!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
