be my buddy
Born: 12/04/2010

Homeward Bound - Adopted!

Now living happily in Lincoln, Nebraska

Rio is the cutest little bundle of love. If you’re sitting on the floor, Rio will climb up your back to get to your head and express his immense love of people. He’s a playboy and an acrobat and also a cuddle bug. Rio is one of the Texas Rangers who hopped a ride to HUA only hours before he would have died. He must have lived in a home with people who cared about him at one time. He’s a very clean little fellow who knows his house manners. He would make a wonderful addition to a family with people who want to be entertained by his antics.

Rio sends Josslyn, her granddaughter AND Lex many very happy kisses and is pleased to share lots of love with them!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
