Hearts United for Animals

be my buddy
Born: 10/15/2006
12 lbs

Zeke came from a hoarder/breeder situation where the person gave up all of the dogs before the city pound took them and destroyed them. Zeke is still a bit scared of humans. We aren't sure what happened to him but he has scars on his head from some type of previous injury. Zeke has a blast at recess and loves to play games with the other dogs. Once he learns to trust he will be all personality and fun! Zeke is a male Chihuahua. He was born 10/15/06 and weighs 12 pounds
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddy, Ann MacDougall, from Lincoln, NE, sent him this message: "Hi, Zeke! I love your little smile and waggly tail, and the way you give me little kisses when I visit and sit with you and your roomies! I'll miss you when you are adopted, but you very much deserve to be the Top Dog in a great home! Love you, sweetie!" Zeke sends Ann more of those little kisses and lots of happy tail wags!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
