If ever a dog deserved a home, it's little Joli. She has had it rough and now deserves nothing but pampering and spoiling. Joli spent her entire life - TEN YEARS - in one of the worst puppy mills we've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. She had to have a mastectomy to remove mammary tumors. She has only 2 teeth left in her entire mouth. She wants nothing more than to trust and to be adored. Joli likes it when we go into her room and sit quietly on the floor. She looks at us with such hopeful eyes and then slowly makes her way to our laps. You can visibly watch her tiny body relax as we talk to her and pet her gently. She soaks it all up and we know every kiss and hug means so much to her. Now that the weather has gotten nicer, Joli is having a good time romping outside with her friends. She loves her freedom and is ready and willing to make some lucky family her very own.
Buddy Messages (3)
Her Buddy, Jessica Keysar, from Gaithersburg, Maryland, sent her this message: "Joli: I am so happy that I can now be your Buddy. You are a very special girl, who deserves all the hugs, kisses & love you never had before. Enjoy your new friends and all the "laps" you can. LOL, your Buddy, Jessie" Joli sends Jessie many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.
Her Buddy, Suzanne, Greiner, from Bellevue, Nebraska, sent her this message: "I can't believe you have no buddies and all the other dogs have buddies. I will be your buddy. I do not have much money and would love to adopt you but am not able to because I live in a cramped apartment with a small son and would not be able to give you all the things financially that you deserve. Love and kisses sent to you." Joli sends Suzanne and her lovely son many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.
Her Buddy, Angela Sisney, from Gig Harbor, Washington, sent her this message: "Joli, I am so sorry that you were treated so badly for so long. You have been such a brave little girl. I am so glad you were rescued. Remember you are beautiful, special and deserving of great love and happiness. I know you will get a gentle and caring family. Until then, I send you belly rubs and kisses." Jolie sends Angela many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
