Shannon

be my buddy
Schnauzer mix
Born: 10/13/2008
Small
12 lbs
Female

Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Michigan.

Shannon was found in somebody’s yard in a small town about 25 miles from the shelter. She arrived here in a state of disarray with mats and filth in her lovely Schnauzer fur, and she was terribly shy of people. That all changed very fast because she really is a fun-loving girl who responds right away when people care about her. She is a favorite of many volunteers who love to cuddle her on a lap and watch her have a great time with other little dogs out playing in a yard. Shannon is an all-around good little dog.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddy, Anita Hoppenrath, from Andover, MN, sent her this message: "Hi Shannon - I'm so glad that Conroy found his furever home because now I can be your buddy. You are so blessed to have been rescued by the wonderful people at HUA. They will take such good care of you and give you the life you so deserve. Hugs to you - Anita" Shannon sends Anita many very happy kisses and lots of joyful hugs, and hopes she can visit soon!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
