Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Lincoln, NE.

Sweet, precious Belle has had a bit of a struggle in her young life. She was originally bought by a family, then turned over to a rescue group that did not have a foster home available for her. That group contacted HUA to see if we'd be willing to take Belle in, which of course we knew we had to do. Belle was described as anxious and nervous, a little girl who needed time and security. She has already done so much better after being with us and the other dogs for a while. She is cheery girl who wants to be carried around and has become quite outgoing. She adores her time with the volunteers and has learned that there is nothing to be afraid of here. She's such a cute little bug, and we're so happy that she has emerged from her shell to show us the silly Morkie we knew was hiding in there.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddy, Georgette Miller, from Clermont, FL, sent her this message: "I would love to have you be part of our family!" Belle sends Georgette and her family many anxious little kisses and happy tail wags!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
