be my buddy
Born: 06/03/2007
8 lbs

Cici was rescued from a horrific puppy mill in the Midwest. Damage was done to this precious little girl's pscyhe. She was terrified of people and her new situation. She just could not figure it all out. In the past few weeks, Cici has learned that there are so many friends here and she is learning how to relax. She adores sprinting about in the yards with the other little dogs at recess. She is responding to our gentle touches and kind words. Her gorgeous butterfly ears have become a conversation piece, and she is very proud of those things. Cici will be just fine. She is impossible not to fall in love with and we expect that her family is just right around the corner, waiting to take her home and provide her all of the comforts that she's missed out on for so long.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddy, Carol Walley, from Gales Ferry, CT, sent her this message: "Darling Cici, you are such a beautiful butterfly girl. I am so glad you are in the safe, loving hands of HUA. I know there is a loving family out there for you! Until then, relax and enjoy the comforts of green grass and all your new doggie friends!" Cici sends Carol many tiny puppy kisses and shy, grateful cuddles!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
