Adopted! Now living happily in Abiline, KS

HUA recently took in a wonderful bunch of smushy-faced, charming and sweet dogs from a local humane society. They were there due to a severe case of hoarding that resulted in the suffering of many dogs due to neglect and lack of medical attention. When the humane society was unable to adopt out some of the older and/or special needs dogs, they contacted us for help, knowing that these glorious animals would always have a home with HUA if they never found their forever homes. We love these animals and they have all become very important to us.

Lian is a calm, serious gentleman who very much enjoys the company of his dog buddies. He likes to hang on the outskirts, watching the activities of the crazy young pups and grinning at their wild ways. He converses with some of his cronies as to the delightful new place in which they have found themselves, and is content and satisfied with this new way of life. When we tell Lian about a REAL home with a FAMILY, his eyes shine bright with anticipation. He is a beautiful boy with a gentle soul and a heart of gold.

His Buddies, Abby and Mike Bynum, from Omaha, NE, sent him this message: "Hi Lian! We met you when we adopted Christine and your cute face is still in our minds. We are glad to be your buddy but we pray you find your forever home soon!" Lian sends Abby and Mike many little kisses of thanks, and would be happy to share a cuddle or two when they visit again!
His Buddy, Kristine Nielsen Felos, from Blanchard Township, Maine, sent him this message: Lian, you sound like such a lovely fellow! I am so glad you are now cared for and hope someone can give you a special home soon where you will be spoiled and loved furever." Lian sends Kristine many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
