Homeward Bound - Adopted!

Now living happily in Hiawatha, Kansas

Boomer was found as a stray in a small town close to the shelter. How this gorgeous boy found himself homeless is a sad mystery. Boomer is fantastic. He is a puppy at heart and happy about everything. He is bouncy and silly and a joy to be around. He loves walking on his leash and feels very special when he is prancing down the lane looking like a tiny, mighty lion. Boomer would love a family who will include him in all the fun activities and play with him to his heart's content.
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddy, Lisa Bartel, from Jackson, NJ, sent him this message: "Boomer, you are adorable! Wishing you lots of luck for a great life! You will make someone very happy!" Boomer agrees, and sends Lisa LOTS of very happy kisses and many cuddly hugs!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
