Homeward Bound - Adopted!

Now living happily in Malvern, Iowa

Scarlett was rescued from a puppy mill in the midwest. Nautrally, she was shy and timid when she first arrived. It did not take her very long at all to show us that she is a sweet, friendly, lovely little doll who adores playing with her new friends and being rewarded with tasty treats for her accomplishments. True to her breed, she is agile, smart and lots of fun. She is also a tiny little thing who is seriously cute as a button. Scarlett has learned a lot from being in the company of her dog pals and would probably love to be in a home with another small dog or two, but it is not a requirement for her. All she really needs is to feel the loving warmth from her own family for the very first time in her life.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddy, Debra Rasmussen, from Lincoln, NE, sent her this message: "Scarlett, You are such a sweet looking girl! My fur baby Rhett actually made me decide to pick you because your name goes so well with his! My 3 dogs, my cat and I all hope you find your forever home soon!" Scarlett sends Debra many very joyful kisses, thanks HUA alum, Rhett, and his fur siblings for helping their mommy choose her as their Buddy, and sends them all lots of grateful hugs!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
