Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Omaha, NE.

Caroline was brought to HUA by her owner, the person who was supposed to be loving and protecting her. Apparently, she lived in a house overrun with cats loaded with fleas and Caroline caught some of those bugs as well. Rather than treat the pets, the owner tossed them out. Caroline is a funny, playful, darling girl. She loves to walk on her leash and meet all the dogs and people running about the place. She is sensitive and emotional and very tuned in to what people want from her. She listens attentively with an adorable tilt to her head, wanting to know what we think about her and if we're pleased. We're not just pleased, we're ecstatic to have met the sweet thing. Caroline will settle quickly and wonderfully into any type of family situation, as long as she is loved and appreciated for the the super gal she is.
Buddy Messages (2)
Her Buddy, Todd Fahner, from Portland, Oregon, sent her this message: "We so wish we could bring you home to meet our friends Harley, Teddy Bear & Gizmo. We hope you find a great forever home very soon. Todd & Sidney" Caroline sends Todd, Harley, Teddy Bear & Gizmo many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.
Her Buddy, Sally Foley, from Baltimore, Maryland, sent her this message: "If I didn't already have a full house, you would be for me! That waifish hair cut cannot obscure your intelligent, soul-piercing eyes. Soon, I hope, you will become what every companion dog should be: loving, loyal and ready the please your "forever" owners. Love, Sally" Caroline sends Sally many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
