Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Lali is a delightful little girl. She was rescued from one of the most notorious puppy mills in Nebraska. She is making up for lost time and learned quickly that if she turns on the charm she will be doted on by the volunteers. She has stolen volunteer Ann's heart and has gone to her house for several sleepovers. Ann says she is such an enthusiastic, happy little girl and just adores life in a home. She plays hard and naps hard, preferring to nap in the arms of a person if at all possible. She dances around the grass yards having the time of her life and telling hilarious jokes to her dog friends. Due to poor care at the puppy mill she lost 12 teeth on her first vet visit and due to over-breeding she had a mammary tumor that was removed and thankfully was benign. Lali should have a long life of happiness, love, romping and naps ahead of her. She gets along with everyone and will fit very easily into any home.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddy, Rachel Comerford, from Arlington, Virginia, sent her this message: "Hi Lali, So glad you were rescued from that puppy mill! It sounds like you're really loving life with all your new friends and I hope you find a good home soon! I don't know who could resist those big brown eyes. You remind me of my Shih Tzu Blossom who has also lost some teeth. She certainly doesn't need them to enjoy her treats! Blossom also enjoys napping hard and delighting us with her musical snoring. Take care little one! Keep dancing!" Lali sends Rachel and Blossom many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
