Homeward Bound - Adopted! Now living happily in Ridgefield, Connecticut

Sweet Dominic and his sister, Edwina, came from a home where the people could not care for them. Dominic was so covered in clumps and filth that we could barely find the dog underneath. Despite such poor care, however, he is a healthy and happy little man. He is completely unspoiled, asks for nothing, celebrates when he gets something. He is gentlemanly, quiet and oh so polite, but does have a goofy side that generally emerges around his favorite people and squeaky toys. Dom and Edwina do not have to be adopted together. They both get along splendidly with the other small dogs and are just a delight to have around.
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddies, Richard and Marilyn Duxbury, from Lincoln, NE, sent him this message: "Hi, Dominic! You are an adorable fellow who looks like you'll be very curious and love exploring everything in your new home! We hope it is a home full of squeaky toys and more love than you've ever known!!" Dominic sends the Duxburys oodles of little kisses and many grateful hugs of thanks!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
