be my buddy
Treeing Walker Coonhound
Born: 01/18/2011
60 lbs

Enola came to HUA from a mill in Nebraska. Despite having had very little positive interaction with humans in the past, she is a major cuddler. She adores sitting in laps and soaking up the love and attention. She has learned to walk gracefully and patiently on her leash, and her walks around the campus are the hi-lights of her days. Enola has also learned to climb fences, so she must go to a well-secured home with people who will make sure she gets plenty of exercise. Additionally, Enola knows she is breathtakingly beautiful and because of this, she does not want competition from the other lady dogs. She prefers to live with boy dogs so she can be the only belle of the ball. Enola will do well with a family who wants a young, active, gorgeous dog who turns into a comfy marshmallow once she has had her share of fun.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddies, Tiffanie and Jordan Daake, from Omaha, NE, sent her this message: "Enola, We are thrilled to be your buddies! We have two of our own furkids that we know would just love you! We are certain you'll find your forever home soon but, in the mean time, we're happy to help make your stay at HUA a little more comfortable! Tiffanie and Jordan" Enola sends Tiffanie, Jordan and their two furkids many grateful hugs, happy tail wags and joyful kisses!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
