Floyd

be my buddy
Labrador mix
Born: 01/23/2014
Medium
25 lbs
Male

Homeward Bound - Adopted!

Now living happily in Lincoln, Nebraska

Floyd was surrendered by his owners because they did not have the time or financial resources to care for a pup. Floyd is so happy at HUA. He loves to play with his pup pals and adores giving his caregivers big wet sloppy kisses. Running non-stop in the yard and then flopping down for belly rubs and hugs are his very favorite things. He is a happy-go-lucky young fellow with a heart of gold. He will be an amazingly smart and entertaining pooch for the lucky family who adopts him! Floyd is a lab mix but is very petite for his age. He will not reach full grown labrador size. He says to just think of him as a pocket Labrador. He heard these pocket pooches are all the rage and says if that helps get him adopted, he will be one.
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddy, Alice Wofsy, from Carney's Point, NJ, sent him this message: "Dear Floyd, you are a Labrador Love. I know you will share your love and joy with a loving family in the near future. Till then, here's the best from your admirers in New Jersey." Floyd sends Alice LOTS of very joyful hugs and kisses, and more happy tail wags than she can imagine!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
